Nic here :D Long time since anyone updated. Anyway, anybody interested in watching Harry Potter? Date and time not confirmed yet, probably sometime next week, maybe Monday, Wednesday or Tuesday? Venue will probably be Century Square (where it's cheaper) or Tampines Mall (where it's a lot more crowded), it's nearer for most of us. (:

and yeah, i wan to address the matter about the birthday stuffs. i guess kenzie's birthday was more "grand" or whatever because someone actually went to organise it. claudia got us to chip in to but his presents and stuffs, to get him out of the class so that we could surprise him with the birthday song. simply because they have been friends since primary school and kenzie's our chairman. about people's birthday who were in the holidays, these people should know that since their birthdays are in the holidays, its hard for us to actually celebrate it. unless its like, you yourself made arrangements or with the class functions i/c s to have somesort of a celebration. sometimes, things like birthdays have to be suggested or made the first move by the birthday person himself/herself. we cant just believe that others will surely have made surprises or whatever, this kind of thinking most of the time only will make yourself dissapointed. and it will only result in more conflicts, misunderstandings in the class. i swear i am not saying about any particular people, its in general.

i dunno how it was like for you people, but for me, this class was all i had when i entered ahs. no matter how much misunderstandings, "wars" we have, its still a fact that we're together as a class. it may not seem much to some people but the changes we have to face as we adapt to the new secondary school life, which i believe everyone have to agree that it is very different from primary school life, the only people we can turn to when we have problems is our classmates. you can say that we always have our primary school friends, but its like, they themselves are also going through whatever we are now, so the only thing we can do is accept it and try to bond with our class. competing other classes for the OCA award, academically and class enthu-ness, we can only win them if we work together as a class. for competitions, common tests and whatever. end of secondary one may seem so far away now, but look, 6 months have already flew by. when ONEA'08 have to part ways and separate to our different classes, i dunno how much i would 舍不得 to leave you guys..

its up to you whether you want to understand how things are now. i just want to speak up for how i feel. anyway, it has been Denise here all this while.

Please come for the class gathering kay,it will be tonnes of fun ,i promise (: i know some of you guys are hesitant,but it beats rotting at home right? You all may think its not gonna be fun or whatever,but at the class gathering,you all will have the company of your classmates,isn't that good enough? Me,claudia and elwin are really putting in alot of effort to organise this gathering,and its not an easy task,please let us know that all the time spent on planning this thing is worth it kay (:

There will be snacks,and fun games,you know as in REALLY fun games :D hahaha i mean i think its fun but hannah is fun what,so if fun says this thing is fun,then its fun la :P the group games are cancelled already,due to some complaints that it aint fair etc etc. The main objective of this gathering is to get the whole class to bond,so you all must try to mix around with other people and not only in your own clique. At least come la D: there will be a bbq after the gathering,and there will be snacks and drinks provided,so just come lor.

yes, i wanted to ask you all about the 'class outing'(not really, though). It's some time off for BADMINTON.... Wonder if you all want to go, but those who want can 'sign up' with me by next week or so. Then, i'll confirm the date and time. If you all are okay with this, i'll be booking two or more badminton courts at the Pasir Ris East Community Club for two hours or more. Alright, as you all know, it's not free booking..... it would cost about $24-$36. Therefore, those who want to go will have to pay me a small fee each, depending on the number of people going, and i'll book the court, that is. So, the MORE the 'MERRIER'!!!!!

Today i dun noe wad to sae but what i want to say is that the OUTSTANDING CLASS AWARD is ours!!! MUAHAHAHAH... (i think i am veri lame) yes, we're 1a and nothing can change that fact. but i supposedly think that the pics were veri cool! (especially that one abt my back - kidding!)

now let's get down to serious work. everyone, relax and revise for monday's geog test and thurs's maths test.

NOW PANIC!!!!! but i really think that time has passed so fast. I still can vividly remember the very first few days of school where we were all gong gong one... and then there was that hard time of adaptation and suddenly the class became noisier and gradually, we got scolding from mdm norliza. that was the most vivid thing i remember. really!

hahas, but now it's already may! home economics has come to an end (sad me T.T), geog is also coming to an end (i'm dying writing this T.T)! let us all just cherish the times we had together and the thick and thin we had all gone through together, whether its hatred or smiles. it's really worth being in this class, and i'll never regret coming to this school.

Claudia, i know you guys HAVE been giving me chances again and again. I guess i should correct you. I DIDNT use the opportunities wisely, i guess. If i had, maybe the class wouldnt go against me that much.

Oh and, you dont have to listen to claudia and forgive/stop going against me. You have to do things willingly. If you do it unwillingly, you will still not like me in the end.

Anyway, you cant possibly find a person who is well like by ppl all the time right? You can only be friendly to everyone and try to make friends with everyone.

Claudia, i guess we shouldnt delete the posts. Because we should remain the past. So what if we have this past? As long as we're a united a class after all these problems we've met, thats the most important thing. I meet problems all the time. Everytime i get into a new class. [because of misunderstandings, of course.] But after all the misunderstandings, we're good and great friends now.

But what happens in the end? I grow to be stronger each time. Grow to be more tolerant each time.

I hope that you could have read this post before you get your hands on the tagboard.

This few days, no, weeks, many things have been going on over here in the class blog. And its not that i didnt read, or i'd keep quiet, be a sadist, watch you guys quarelling. No, it wasnt.

Many people have asked me,"Should we give JooHwee another chance?" Have we been giving JooHwee chances? I believe, most of us, yes. And has she been using it wisely? I believe again, yes. So why does it seem like many people are against her? JooHwee, i think you're thinking too much too. I probably dont know things that you know. But you could share it with us instead of ranting around in blogs. Its because of those, that gave people the wrong impressions. Its because of your tone in your messages. ONE smiley face emoticon can change the whole tone of message in an sms, im sure many of you know.

I've decided to change the blogskin, and the cbox. And seriously, KEEP YOUR NEGATIVE COMMENTS TO YOURSELF. If u think you're so smart, so wonderful, to be able to find a blogskin everyone L.O.V.E, fine, go ahead. I was hesitating on deleting the previous posts. But i've kept them. That previous blog, was too fugly. There were many GIVEUP words and posts that show we arent united. So, ONEA, YOU GUYS LISTEN UP! I want a brand new ONEA. A change of behaviour, attitude and everything. I don't want to hear anyone else saying,"I give up" or anyone talking about 35 people in this class. Ok. I didnt interact with the class. I said before, i sat a place right at the door, at the front. Its not easy to interact. At least, i did interact with the people sitting near me, at my row. You guys just think ah, if you sit at my place there, you would be interacting more with those near you, isnt it? There isnt much time to interact during recess.
Ok. I dont know why, i dont know what to do now. AND i dont know how to solve this problem. Its like... No body even cares about me here. Im so lost. I really dont know what to do. Please. Stop all these war with me. Im sorry. I dont know what i've done wrong but now, i really dont have the energy continue this war any more. Ok. Some times the way i speak is like as if im perfect, as if i hate you all and stuff. I really regretted doing such things. Because there are 2 sides of me. Sometimes, i cant control myself. I also felt like that, so did Desmond and all the people who's birthday are over.

Maybe because, yeah, he's our class chairman. OR

Cos he fainted the day before and we simply wanted to encourage him.

but right, we, meaning like, one a, had already started planning things before he fainted.

and you people have to agree that he have not really been carrying out his duty well right?

as a class chairman, he should be like, our ' role model '. like one D's chairman.

but he's always been scolded by `cher for being noisy or not studying hard.

So, yeah. I do feel that it has been quite unfair.

look, guys. i don't care anymore. as far as i'm concerned, i'm not siding with anyone. at most i'll try to settle this thing.

joo hwee: are you saying i'm venting my anger on people around me? well, maybe i do, but look at yourself. remember i wanted to be a student councillor, and i didn't get nominated by mdm norliza? but YOU got nominated. BUT you didn't know which recess to go and meet her. so you took it out on me, saying," Nicola! it's so unfair! i didn't get the nomination form just because i never go at the correct recess! not fair! not fair!" you didn't spare a thought for my feelings. you already knew that i was miserable at not being chosen, and an normal person would keep their mouth shut and accpt things. but NOOO, you HAD to keep going on about it. pur-lease. how do you think i felt? and by the way, you're taking up more than your share of the locker. take some stuff out. you're not the only one who needs locker space.

Interact with the class. I'd be able to interact with the class easily if i wasnt sitting at where i am now. If you think im talking crap, fine, whatever. It took me 1 whole year to managed to clear all the misunderstandings with my p5 classmates and now we're good friends.

I feel that actually, God has been very good to us, putting us in One A, the best sec one class. Some of you may feel that we are the worst class, being very noisy and such.

But, look at other classes.

Would you rather be in a happy and enthu class? Or,

In a super quiet class that you dread going to every morning?

Truthfully, I myself, look forward to going to school every morning. Being in one a really make me forget all my troubles, as long as you try to listen in and be a part of the class. I know that I sometimes become very emo and become very quiet, not wanting to talk to anyone at all. But I really cant help but smile whenever Im in our class. There is really a bunch of people in our class who are very encouraging and will always be there, to cheer you up. Im also really very thankful to that bunch of people. Even though sometimes our class would become very rowdy and noisy, we're more than just a class, we're friends.

Rong Wei wants the homework to be here so thats it, these are the things that has to be done:
1. ets Paraphrase English Worksheet has to be completed
2. Summary Practice - main points and the reword. (you can type it and print it out.)
3. HomEc Project - Vitamins and Minerals (Has to be done on A2 paper. Due on Friday.)
4. Find out more about Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam (either) Provide pictures and information on culture, sports and games. Give the information to Selina and Jia Ying.
5. Geog workbook and worksheets and mapping.
6. Science Workbook - OTOT
7. Chinese workbook chapter 12 if you've not handed in or completed.
8. Print something to decorate your table for class decor. (Sports Theme)
